Pros and cons of Hot Body Yoga app for iPhone and iPad

Hot Body Yoga app good for

This yoga app is awesome with great poses and wonderful Workouts!!!!!!!!!! Really really good!!!! I luv it!
Great app. Could use some improvements such as some relaxing music and definitely needs to let you know when the sequence is done so you can just do it, workout or relax or stretch and not worry about holding the last pose for way too long because you arent told its over. But I love the different asana workouts for whatever you want or need. Its great for some quick workouts if you are time consumed and just need a lil something to get you relaxed or stretched or put in a short workout if you can reach a studio or gym or do it at home :). All in all, bottom line is that its a great app and would recommend it to my friends, especially if they are just starting yoga like I did just to get into it :)
Thanks Womens Health--this app rocks! Love LOVE the "Om Alone" sequence--its like have my yogi with me, guiding me through the steps. Still havent mastered the crane, but hopefully doing more of these poses will help with my balance. I started yoga recently and I like how you can choose to do a single pose (with cool voice over instructions) or do a whole sequence. Ive even done a few of these with a friend and next thing I know, shes bought it, too! One of the best yoga apps out there, for sure. xo
I love this app since I was able to cut out quite a few pricey yoga classes in favor of doing it on my own at home. The pre-made workouts are the best, and they really make you feel like youre getting a work out but are calming enough to relax after a long day. Definitely recommend!
Ive checked out most of the Yoga apps out there, and this was the best. Well built interface, loads of workouts, good rating system. Nice work!
If you dont have much time and/or money, this yoga app is your best bet. I like the background music and how I can log my sessions. Its helping with my New Years resolution!

Some bad moments

Its a pretty mediocre app with mediocre routines that have very little guidance. Definitely nothing special about this one...
I did not care for this clinical app. The instructional voice came on strong and with no music it was anything but relaxing. Great for people who view yoga as a work out but not for those who use it for stress relief.
The info on correct form for pose sparse and inadequate compared to all classes Ive attended and descriptions in other apps and books. Form instructions leave out info needed to prevent injury. I consider thos a fatal flaw personally. Thought Id like the specific workouts but they include only a few poses and are not too good. Wasted my money. Will not use the app.
You jump right into warrior pose with no warmup. Only one sequence is more than 15 minutes long, several are closer to two. No clear way to string them together into a workout of warmup, strength, cool down.
Yoga equals relax+exercise. This app is not yoga. Its just exercise with yoga poses. The whole time I did the workouts, I didnt feel relaxed. That might be because I had NO IDEA what I was supposed to be doing. Yes, the app explained how to do the poses, but the person in the picture should have moved so that I could tell what she was talking about. Reading the reviews it turns out the exercises were bad anyways. The only exercise that felt ok to me (notice its just ok) was the quick calorie burner thing, but the rest sucked. If you want a REAL yoga app, (Aka relaxation + exercise) try simply yoga.
Wouldnt even open... Grrr... The yoga apps that are free are sub par at best...
